The Troop Committee and parents have chosen Bear Creek near Kerrville as the site for the 2011 summer camp. The camp will run from July 10-16, 2011. Camp fees for Scouts will be $250.00 and will cover most merit badges classes, meals and tent. The Troop will pay for half of the cost and Scout is responsible for paying for the other half. A deadline of April 25, 2011 has been set for the Scout to pay half of their fees ($62.50) and they must pay for the other half of ($62.50) by June 1, 2011. Scoutmaster, Joel Gant, needs to know which Scouts will be participating. He is also requesting 4 adults to help out and stay at Bear Creek with the Scouts. Adult volunteers who will be staying at Bear Creek do not have to pay a fee since the unit will for their fee for helping out. The unit will also need help transporting the Scouts and to and from camp so please volunteer.

Details on the list of merit badges will be made available soon as well as any additional costs for participating the COPE course and other adventure programs.
